The 2016 Business House Tournament has now been completed. The finals results can be found in the Latest News Section. The Col Young team representing Glen Jahn's Blue Water Air Conditioning took out the main final in convincing fashion.
The 2106 Mixed Pairs Championship played on Friday evenings has been completed with "scratchy" wins in the semi and final to Jan Notley and Michael Howard. More information and results are in the Latest News Section.
The 2016 Xmas Function and members Presentation Day was on Saturday December 10th. 80 members and guests attended an 11 end novelty bowls match followed by the novelty presentation and "formal" Championship presentation and dinner. It was an enjoyable afternoon for all - especially the prizewinners .
The Members Qualifying special event was played on 2 Monday evenings offering $1100 prizemoney to our more loyal club players. The Greenkeepers side took the early lead with 3 rink wins and barely hung on to win on the final night. Sides and Results are in the Latest News Section.
Players considering Pennant play in 2017 are urged to indicate this on the club noticeboard.
At the 2016 AGM members had their opportunity to vote for their executive and committeee members for the forthcoming year as well as airing greivances, making suggestions and voting on constitutiional ammendments at the AGM. The new committees can be found in the Members Section.
A NON-SMOKING POLICY HAS BEEN IMPLEMENTED STARTING JULY 1st.
All bowlers are requested not to smoke on the greens and immediate surrounds (including seating at green edge) in consideration of all other bowlers.
The renovation program of our greens have produced excellent surfaces with many positive comments from club and visiting bowlers directed to our greens staff. All members are expected to treat the greens with respect with regard their deliveries and care around the ditch when stepping on/off the green.
