The Team Draw for the 2016 Business House Tournament as been made. The teams and progressive results can be found in the Latest News Section.
The entry sheet for the 2106 Mixed Pairs championship is on the notice board for members to join in the fun. If you don't have your own partner put your name down as a single and your committee will find you a willing partner. It will be played on Friday evening under lights with a 6.30 start.
To reward the loyal committment of our more active bowling members the committee will be running a Qualifying Pairs special event on Monday October 31st and November 14th. Partners will be randomly drawn from a list of qualifying skips and leads. Teams will play 2 matches of 10 end 3 bowls pairs each day with winners determined by No. of Wins, then Ends won. Play will be in 2 sessions per day, EITHER at 3pm (to 5.30) or 6pm (to 8.30) with a BBQ roll at 5.30 for all players. $600 prizemoney is available for the qualifiers.

The Minor Pairs is underway with second round matches completed. 3nd round is to be played on Saturday 8th October. Of the 4 teams involved 3 can possibly win the Minor Pairs next weekend. More in the Latest News.
Happy Jack followed up his win in the Greenkeepers Charity Challenge with another win at Stuarts Point in thier Open Pairs on Monday August 29th. John and Barry played excellent draw bowls to lead the field. More in the Latest News.
The 2016 Trial Bay Classic Pairs was played on Friday 19th to Sunday 21st August on fast greens in quite windy conditions. Danny Barrett and Phil Baker played magnificently to win. See Latest News for more details.
One of our greenkeepers, Nathan Moore, took a team of "scrubbers" to play in the Greenkeepers Charity Day at Stuarts Point and brought home the "winnings". Details in the Latest News Section.
At the 2016 AGM members had their opportunity to vote for their executive and committeee members for the forthcoming year as well as airing greivances, making suggestions and voting on constitutiional ammendments at the AGM. The new committees can be found in the Members Section.
A NON-SMOKING POLICY HAS BEEN IMPLEMENTED STARTING JULY 1st.
All bowlers are requested not to smoke on the greens and immediate surrounds (including seating at green edge) in consideration of all other bowlers.
The renovation program of our greens have produced excellent surfaces with many positive comments from club and visiting bowlers directed to our greens staff. All members are expected to treat the greens with respect with regard their deliveries and care around the ditch when stepping on/off the green.
